Why is it that when I have to spend money, I have to spend a lot of it?
Cars are ridiculous.

Happy New Year
[info]rhapsodistdara
Today after Michael gets off of work, he's gong to meet my grandparents.  Yay!  Lol..I just hope my grandparents won't trick us into a cultural marriage.  I mean, I've only been living with him since summer and all.  And he's pretty much my sugar daddy.  Although I don't get boyfriend allowances like Madonna does.  Hahah.

:(
[info]rhapsodistdara
Today Michael's mother told me to bite a fuckin' pillow when we are having sex.

fml.

[info]rhapsodistdara
So I deleted my facebook and my myspace.  Had weird ass unnecessary drama with the boyfriend over it.  Regardless, it's better off because I'd be spending more time being productive and active.  People who want to have contact with me could reach me via phone and vice versa.  There is also AIM and e-mail.

Anyways, I had a good spring break.

\\From my tumblr:

Monday: Bora

After picking up Bora from school we went to Valleyfair mall with nothing to do.  Bora likes the mall.  I forget whether or not he bought anything, Monday seems so long ago.  He helped me buy a new pair of dark-washed levi jeans for Michael.  After we picked up some Chinese food on King and Berryessa and went over to Michael’s and hung out with him and his mom.  I had super PMS munchies and bitched and moaned for some tacos and ended dropping Bora off at home after Taco Bell.

Tuesday: Lynnea

It was Ceasar Chavez day for her so she had no school.  After eating lunch with Michael at his work I went over to pick her up.  I ended up staying at her house and gabbing for a long time before we decided to watch Mirrors.  At the rising climax of the movie my friend from Walgreens, Christine called me.  She locked her keys in her new car and asked if I could drive over and bring her a wire hanger.  Lynnea and I paused the movie and went over to the damsel in distress with our dinky wire hanger.  We arrived at her boyfriend’s house near Eastridge Mall and found out she didn’t need us.  Lol, whattaloser.  Afterwards,  Lynnea and I went to Eastridge for a bit but decided we’d rather shop at Ross.  Before heading over to Ross on aborn we went to Coldstones because of ice-cream cupcake cravings.  There were the dinkiest baked ice-cream cupcakes there and we were bummed out that there wasn’t more made.  So we continued our journey to Ross.  We searched for undies and long summer dresses. We didn’t find anything we liked and left.  I had a crazy craving for Smoothie King so we went all the way to Sunnyvale for two smoothies (yum!).  Bora called and expressed his need for new earrings which led Lynnea and I headed over to Great Mall, had some Chipotle, finally found some cute panties, and got Bor his damn earrings.  We went back to her house and finished the movie.  It was a long, but fun day. No zombies included!

Wednesday:  Christine, Priya and Pretti

Christine contacted me in the morning needing to go to the DMV.  I agreed to take her and went over to her house to pick her up.  We stopped by Jack in the Box to have breakfast and then got lost several ways going over to the DMV from Tully. The line at the DMV was out the door.  In truth I was tired and annoyed by all the weirdos.  Parking was ridiculous and I hope to never have to arrive at the DMV without a settled appointment—It really is ten minutes in and out (or even less!).  After hanging out with her I got ready for work and switched shifts with Christina, leaving finally around 9.  Michael, Bora, and Matt surprised me at work.  They said they couldn’t spot me right away because I blended in with everyone else.   I left to go to Lal’s residence (which turned out to be three blocks away from my own home) for support.  They lost their father this week and I thought it’d be a good idea to try to make ‘em laugh like I usually do.  It was pretty fun.  I met a lot of their family and picked fun.

Thursday:  Casey

Aww, I love Casey.  I try to hang out with her every so often.  If I didn’t see her at all this spring break month I think I would be honestly bothered.  I met her over at her house and we took off to Cupertino. Seeing Vallco’s shopping center sign I demanded we had to take photobooth pictures.  After going to Red Mango we went to Aida’s Bookstore but it was closed and so finally turned to Vallco.  We decided to watch Monsters VS. Aliens and then went to the Japanese Photobooths.  Yayy!  Afterwards we ate Pizza of my Heart and then watched the movie.  We were disappointed that we paid for the non-3D version, but it was still fun.  I missed her a lot.

Friday: Madonna

I drove up to SFSU to go hang out with this girl.  I had no idea how much gas it took! LOL.  Oh well, it was worth it.  I looked like a preppy mom that day and when in San Jose it was nice and warm.  I forgot that San Francisco was colder and much windier. Lame.  Haha.  I went to her first class with her.  After we had the BLTA I was craving all day from Cafe Rosso.  The BLTA is what I missed most from that campus, hahah!  It’s delicous.  We walked to my car so I can move it out of 2hr parking to the 24hr garage parking.  We met up with my friends and hung out in their dorm for a while before going to the mall to charge Madonna’s phone.  She bought me a baked potato and starbucks.  We ended up shopping and got new pants for me and belts for her.  Tired I left around 6.

Back to schoolwork.
I need more effort.

Sleeping Position
[info]rhapsodistdara
Michael and I were watching Pink's new music video "Sober".  The video concludes with Pink curling to her side to fall asleep and Michael mentions that sleeping in that postion means that the person is insecure.  I look at him and say that I sleep in that position (as if he didn't know, haha). He said, "You are insecure. But I always pull you out of it and straighten you out."

He's currently sleeping in bed right now and I'm about ready to join him.
My socket still pains me and it makes me sad.
I dislike taking so many pills for pain relief, but I really feel like I need it.

Gabriel Iglesias is coming to San Jose improv. Tickets are $28each+tax. We're going on Sunday Mar. 8, 2009; come join us!

Damnit, why doesn't this room stay clean for more than two days?!

Benalyn, I miss you. Spring is coming, I want to show off pedis ;)
Casey, be safe damnit.
Matt, good luck playing Resident Evil.

I'm too lazy to finish who reads this, lol.

School is kicking me in the ass. It takes so much effort to just ATTEND class nowadays.  I leave during class to go buy food and then eat the food in class an ignore the lecturer.

Wisdom Teeth
[info]rhapsodistdara
I've had one of my teeth extracted on Tuesday.
I have reason to believe that a dry socket has formed.
And I have been waking up in unbearable pain, frustrated and crying.

I feel like I'm repeatedly getting punched in the jaw.

Man, oh man.
[info]rhapsodistdara
For class last night, we had to watch Brokeback Mountain for ten points extra credit and sign out.

I arrived to class two hours late.

And sobbed through the entire last portion of the movie.

[info]rhapsodistdara
Browsing around the internet really wastes a lot of my damn time.

For a while I wondered why I never seem to have enough time to do anything. The reality struck when I "innocently" went to check up on blogs, myspace, facebook, e-mail, etc. and then I started clicking on link after link after link after link--looking for absolutely nothing about things that are unimportant.

Why is it so fucking addicting?

I can't seem to quit being snoopy and it's awful because it's weird! I'm being weird!
Not my usual quirky-a-little-too-perky weird. Just awkward weird.
So I'm trying to limit my online time spent on these sites.

If I'm not researching or writing messages or e-mails or working on papers--anything productive--I've got to limit myself to ten minutes.

Anyways.

Last three days of winter session.
I have a take-home quiz and a semester reading project I need to do within a day (yay Pride and Prejudice!)
This weekend I will be working and then the spring semester begins.
I'm looking forward to all of this--except for work, I don't look forward to that anymore.

So the plan is to read P&P and finish it before class tonight, have a general outline for my rough draft, work on the rough draft in class, work on complete draft at Michael's, and tomorrow (deadline) finish the assignment and done.

After that is finished, I need to read "Them Old Cowboy Songs" and finish the take-home quiz concerning that story and Brokeback Mountain.

So slap me if I go online.

Intersession
[info]rhapsodistdara
Taking an English course for winter session is a bad idea. Taking this course for any intersession is a bad idea. Just don't do it. It's the same amount of work in a regular semester just very condensed. Bad idea! Bad idea!

Man, I should've tried harder to get into that history class though.
Oh well.

I'm working less and that makes me happy.
Only weekends.
The hours are still stupid though.
430-1230 wtf.
I love my co-workers though. Some of them.

Not much of an update...I can't think.

The Near New Year
[info]rhapsodistdara

This is my blogspot entry from last year.

2008 Resolutions

When putting this list together, I thought about old resolutions I've made and about how unrealistic some of the items were. For example, one year I literally wanted to fly sans air vehicle. So this list contains daily habits that I find that I am capable of doing with ease or with my mind set to it.

1. Lose weight (yeah, this is a common one).
2. When grocery shopping, total to sixty dollars or less.
3. Eat less meat. More veggies please! Yum.
4. Finish homework early, commit to following my agenda.
5. Achieve good grades.
6. Exercise thirty minutes daily (dance, gym, stretching, brisk walking, denise austin, etc.).
7. Read and write for leisure.
8. Improve teeth and skin.
9. Get a job.
10. Fix sleeping habit.

Not bad, right?

So what did I accomplish?
1, 2, 3, 6, 9. I think, about. Hahaha.

2009 Resolutions

I'm really glad that I've accomplished some of my resolutions. People usually don't accomplish any at all...I would know, haha. So I've been working on my resolutions and I've decided to leave out daily habits I should already be practicing out.

1. Maintain weight.
2. Achieve a GPA higher than 3.5
3. Find a better/second job.
4. Volunteer at a hospital or a clinic.
5. Make trips with friends.
6. Move out (maybe).

Here's to the New Year.

For Matt
[info]rhapsodistdara
I have many different blogs. I use my xanga, myspace, livejournal, and blogspot. All of them sort of serve me in different ways so I write different entries in them. I concentrate more on my xanga. My myspace is meant for more 'hey everybody!' sort of entries, my blogspot is more for random feelings, and my livejournal...well, my livejournal is for reading up on my friends.

So no one really gets the full picture.

That is why, I've decided--thanks to matt--to finally just post the same entry everywhere. Hahha.

City of Trees
[info]rhapsodistdara

I've been in Chico since Sunday night.
It's been wonderful being out of the house and constantly with my favorites.
I miss the freedom of college life away from home.

Michael is a blanket stealer.

To someone random;
[info]rhapsodistdara
I wish you weren't such a pretentious douchebag. I really do. Because I liked you and you were great to be around. And then all this stuck-uppery happened. Well, not really happened. It was there, but I liked you enough to excuse that. Ugh. That's all.

How interesting.
[info]rhapsodistdara
I am much more forgiving now that I used to be.
I think I'm really growing up.

Ouch.
[info]rhapsodistdara
I am at a loss for words. I am struggling between spilling it all and swallowing it whole.
It's ridiculous how many songs I've been downloading.
RWAR, I've become a pirate.

Blogging
[info]rhapsodistdara
Somehow, I can't find myself to be comfortable blogging in LJ. I don't think I even need to blog at all since I actually have a hard journal. But still, I find myself with the urge to blog and a yearn to do it elsewhere.
